Shiritori!
Welcome to the fun-fun Japanese word game, called Shiritori!
So, what is Shiritori exactly?
Well, it's a game, when one person says a Japanese noun, and the other person says a word ending in the last "kana" or, syllable. Grammar made fun~!
For example!
"Ashi (foot)" would be followed with another noun that starts with "Shi" for example "Shinto (A religion in Japan)". Then the next word would start with a "To" for example "Toki (hopeful)". Then the following word would start with a "Ki". Do you see how it works?
Another fine example taken from Wiki:
sakura (さくら)-> rajio (ラジオ)-> onigiri (おにぎり)-> risu (りす)-> sumou (すもう) -> udon (うどん)
Easy, right?
This game is great for sharpening your Japanese skills, so you will learn a lot!
The Rules!
-Nouns only!
-You can't end words in the kana "ん" or "N". A Japanese word cannot start with this kana. For example, "San" cannot be used.
-No repeats!
-Please provide an English translation.
-If you will provide the Japanese writing equivelent (which is not necessary), please use hiragana. It's easier to identify the last kana. Refrain from posing Kanji.
- [NEW] Post one word only.
-Don't be afraid to ask questions!
-Have fun!

I'll start!

Shizuka NI! (Be quiet!) (Shizuka = quiet)
